YOUR NEW ROLE

We’re looking for a client-focused and detail-oriented Benefits Consultant to join our team in our Kuala Lumpur office, supporting Accounts Management & Benefits Operations teams, reviewing benefits programs and making recommendations for feasible solutions.

Day-to-day you will be:

  • Evaluating and analysing benefits programs
  • Make suitable recommendations on benefits design that meet the client’s needs
  • Draw conclusions from benefits data that include claims analyses, budget projections, and benchmarking studies
  • Manage projects and support in client relationship building
  • Working closely with other teams for ongoing reporting, client renewals and involvement in new opportunities.

WHO ARE YOU?

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of total rewards and the role of benefits in rewards design and modelling
  • Able to develop consultative relationships with leaders and influence decision-makers
  • Client relationship management skills
  • Able to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders within the organization as well as externally and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and able to organize and prioritize tasks in a service-oriented environment where meeting client’s timeline is of utmost importance.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Demonstrate personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results
  • Experienced in engaging stakeholders at all levels and able to communicate ideas and vision effectively and with impact.
  • Proven ability to deliver in a project and program environmen

 Education & Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics or other related fields from a four-year college or university.
  • At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in consulting on employee benefits
  • Experience in flexible benefits is an added advantage.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – WORKPLACE RISK

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the claims and injury management process
  • Implementing appropriate claim strategies
  • Dispute advocacy
  • Claims liability screening
  • Technical advisory support

WHO ARE YOU?

Technical Skills

  • Workers Compensation broking and/or claims management experience
  • Understanding of workers compensation legislation and premium calculation
  • Strong consulting, negotiating and facilitation skills
  • Report writing, premium projections and data analysis

Soft Skills

  • Work well in a team environment and autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills and high service orientation

COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Key responsibilities include supporting the team with:

  • Identifying, managing and keeping abreast of all relevant legislative and regulatory developments;
  • Monitoring compliance with Honan’s Australian Financial Services Licence through active engagement with stakeholders as necessary;

WHO ARE YOU?

Technical Skills

  • Insurance broking experience in general or life will be highly regarded
